This session of six free classes begins Thursday, July 24 at 5:30 p.m. and continues at the same time on consecutive Thursdays: July 31, Aug. 7, Aug. 14, Aug. 21, and Aug. 28. Topics include how to use a glucose meter correctly, how to access community resources, and how to build a partnership with their diabetes healthcare team. DEEP is based on national diabetes care and self-management recommendations and guidelines. At this session’s six free classes, you will: - Find out how diabetes affects your body - Make sense of your blood sugar numbers - Meet others who have diabetes - Have fun learning in a small group through games, activities, and supportive conversations

The I Can Cope Cancer Survivorship Program at UT Health Northeast’s Cancer Treatment and Prevention Center is designed to provide cancer survivors with a comprehensive care summary and a structured follow-up plan to improve health and quality of life. Meetings are FREE and we invite patients, survivors, and caregivers to join us. Lunch is provided and each session covers a different topic relevant to survivorship.
