Degree Programs at UT Health Northeast
It’s our mission to provide comprehensive education for future leaders in healthcare. To help achieve this, UT Health Northeast offers two schools with exceptional degree programs.
Master of Science in Biotechnology
The School of Medical Biological Sciences at UT Health Northeast offers a Master of Science in Biotechnology degree program. The program curriculum prepares graduates for professions in biotechnology, doctoral programs, medical school, and related scientific fields.
Master of Public Health
The School of Community and Rural Health at UT Health Northeast offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program. The MPH program will provide students with marketable skills and qualifications in the core functions of public health, including research, assessment, policy development, and assurance.
Collaborative Degree Programs
Master of Science in Environmental Science
The School of Community and Rural Health at UT Health Northeast, in collaboration with Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, have combined their medical and scientific faculties with current research and educational facilities to create a graduate program in Environmental Science. There are different tracks to the program — occupational and environmental, land and water resources, and an occupational medicine residency program. The objective of the program is to teach students current topics and laboratory techniques in conjunction with an academic background. Students successfully completing the requirements of the program will receive a Master of Science Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
