The SW Ag Center is comprised of a dynamic group of individuals that represent a wide variety of disciplines and geographic regions.
The Administrative Staff works on-site at the University of Texas Health Northeast in Tyler, Texas to develop, coordinate, and analyze project information. The Feasibility Program and Outreach Program are managed by the administrative staff.
The Advisory Committees are diverse groups comprised of External Advisory Committee members and Internal Advisory Committee members who utilize their experiences and skill sets to counsel and assist the Principal Investigators and staff. Advisors come from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Carolina, Iowa and Texas. The multidisciplinary group represents dairy, forestry, logging, commercial fishing, public health, engineering, health literacy, industrial hygiene, education, migrant and seasonal farmworkers and veterinary medicine.
Principal Investigators are responsible for the execution of individual agricultural, forestry/logging or commercial fishing safety and health projects.
